About

A construction company organized around what happens after the work is done.

Sand Stone Constructors LLC is a specialty environmental construction company serving homeowners, developers, general contractors, municipalities, utilities, mining companies, engineering firms and government agencies across the Southwest.

Our story

Built to sit between the engineer, the agency and the ground.

Sand Stone Constructors was formed to solve a specific problem: environmental scopes were being awarded to contractors who could move dirt but couldn't read a permit, and to consultants who could read a permit but couldn't build.

We built an organization that does both. Our teams interpret permit conditions, develop means and methods with engineers of record, self-perform the construction, and document every step so the file is defensible when an inspector arrives. That same discipline carries into our outdoor living work, where soil, drainage and structure decide whether a landscape survives a decade of desert seasons.

We judge ourselves on capability, not on how long we've been in business. What matters to a developer or an agency is whether the crew on site knows what the condition of approval actually requires — and whether the work still performs three monsoon seasons later.

Mission

Sand Stone Constructors is dedicated to advancing civil construction practices and environmental reclamation through innovative, cost-effective solutions. We provide state-of-the-art products — Terra Lock, Dust Lock, Gabion Baskets and Rock Oxide — and specialized services to build robust infrastructure and restore degraded landscapes. By leveraging our AASHTO-accredited geotechnical lab and adhering to ASTM, EPA and GLVIA3 standards, we ensure projects are sustainable, compliant and built to last.

Vision

To lead the global transition to sustainable civil construction and environmental reclamation, creating infrastructure that enhances functionality and ecological balance. We envision a future where every road, retaining wall and restored landscape reflects cutting-edge technology, environmental stewardship and aesthetic harmony.

Service areas

Where we work.

We serve four primary states across the Southwest rather than operating from a single storefront location.

Nevada

Primary service area — statewide coverage for environmental construction, stormwater compliance and stabilization scope.

Arizona

Primary service area — mobilization available for construction, mining, utility and public agency projects.

Utah

Primary service area — restoration, revegetation, visual mitigation and stabilization work.

California

Primary service area — stormwater compliance, soil stabilization and environmental construction scope.

Future Expansion

Additional Southwest and Intermountain West markets are under evaluation. [Confirm target expansion states before publication.] Project-specific mobilization outside the primary service area is considered case by case. [Confirm mobilization policy.]

Our values

Six commitments we hold every crew to.

Craftsmanship

Field quality is the product. Compaction, drainage, joints, plant placement — the details that decide whether work lasts.

Environmental responsibility

We restore what construction disturbs, and we build in a way that reduces disturbance in the first place.

Innovation

Through Terralok Solutions we bring stabilization technologies that outperform conventional watering and mechanical methods.

Long-term relationships

Most of our work comes from clients who have already seen us perform. That is the metric we manage to.

Safety first

Documented programs, competent-person oversight and daily field reporting on every active site.

Accountability

One responsible team from assessment through establishment. No handoffs to explain away a result.
